About

Cześć, I'm Janusz. I was born in Zyrardow, but we moved to Sudbury, Ontario when I was 6. I speak Polish, but my reading needs improvement. I co-run an independent, record label with my business partner. I value wit and resourcefulness. I like film, carpentry, doing things other humans do, making people laugh and being a silly person.

Looking

I'm looking for someone with a sharp wit, a fierce sense of humor, and a good head on their shoulders. I respect resourcefulness... I'm not a fan of people that take themselves too seriously, or hold fanatical views.

I keep hearing good things about having "fun", but I never tried it.... some of my friends do stuff that claim is “fun”. Heck if I know, so maybe I can meet someone to enlighten me.

My Interests

My record label deals primarily with hip-hop, and lo-fi, but I also enjoy electro-rock and dark synth. I enjoy a wide range of movies and anime (Fururama, Monty Python, Castlevania, Drive, The Saint, Trailer Park Boys, Wes Anderson films, Bond, Bourne, DC, Witcher, Mandalorian), I’m also a sucker for films that are so bad that they’re actually good. I’m a big fan of carpentry and modifying furniture, simple home cooked meals, a decent whisky, an occasional cigar (outside of course - they stink), nature (I'm not saying that I could sit outside all day staring at squirrels, but than again I might). I like discussing film, philosophy, science, geography, politics, home projects. I will only discuss celebrities like ... say .... the kardashians in a context that involves engineering a canon to fire them into the sun. Family’s important. I thrive on making people laugh.
